Unique Persian Rose
The Persian rose is a natural hybrid that originated
approximately 7,000 years ago on the borders of present-day Afghanistan,
Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan, from where it spread throughout the Persian
Empire. Here, the famous and enduring tradition of rose oil production soon
developed, playing an important role in medicine, perfumery, and rituals from
the outset.
Essential oil from Iranian roses is considered the most
intense and most complex variant of rose oil. It
differs from Bulgarian or Turkish rose oil in its deeper, richer, and more
fruity scent with subtle spicy undertones. The unmistakable scent, for which it
is highly valued in perfumery and aromatherapy, is due to the unique combination
of Iranian climate and soil in the Kashan region.
Rose Once Distilled
This essential oil is produced by steam distillation of rose
petals. The designation „once distilled“ means that only
one distillation cycle has occurred.
The result of this process is an essential oil containing a wide range of
aromatic components, including heavier and resinous substances. This gives it a
rich, intense, fuller, and heavier aroma. Such an oil is more
often used for therapeutic purposes.
In contrast, twice-distilled essential oil is more delicate and finds greater
application in perfume manufacturing.
Rarest Essence
Rose essential oils are very rare because an enormous amount
of raw material is consumed to obtain them: approximately 3–4 tonnes of rose
petals are needed for 1 kg of rose oil. Therefore, they are among the
most expensive in the world.
For this reason, we offer a more affordable variant of rose
essential oil in MCT oil. While the undiluted version is 100%
essential oil, which you must first dilute in a carrier oil for skin
application, this variant is already diluted and ready for direct use on the
skin. However, it is not suitable for a diffuser.
For these purposes, the undiluted essential oil BEWIT
Damask Rose Once Distilled is suitable.
Usage
Apply in circular motions to the neck, temples, back of the neck, nape, or
soles of the feet, or inhale from the palms of your hands.
Caution During Pregnancy
Although rose is considered a maternal oil, use it with caution during
pregnancy, especially when applying to the skin.
