Looking for a vital mushroom associated with beauty, vitality, and daily
body care?
Meet Tremella, a mushroom also known as Tremella fuciformis.
In traditional Chinese culture, you may encounter the names Bai Mu Er or
Yin Er, while in English it is often referred to as snow
mushroom, snow fungus, or white jelly mushroom.
For centuries, Tremella has been part of Asian tradition, gastronomy, and
body care. It has gained an exceptional position mainly due to its traditional
association with beauty, vitality, and skin care. Today, it is
becoming an increasingly popular vital mushroom in the world of
functional nutrition, wellness, beauty-from-within, and a healthy lifestyle.
From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, Tremella is primarily
associated with the Lungs, Spleen, and Stomach. Its nature is
described as balanced and its taste as sweet. Traditional concepts relate it to
nourishing Lung Yin, moistening dryness, supporting fluids, and caring
for Qi and blood. Our Organic Tremella contains finely ground
organic powder from the fruiting bodies of Tremella fuciformis. It is
not an isolated substance or a concentrated extract, but a more natural,
minimally processed form of the mushroom.
As a result, the product retains the complex of substances naturally found in
Tremella – for example, polysaccharides including beta-glucans,
uronic acids, amino acids, fibre, vitamins, minerals, polyphenols, and
others.
Its practical vegan capsule form can be easily incorporated
into your beauty and wellness routine at home, at work, or on the go. The
capsules are plant-based and are smaller size 1 for easier
swallowing.
The raw materials for our vital mushroom products undergo thorough
laboratory testing. The authenticity of the raw material,
microbiology, heavy metals, moisture, consistency of individual batches, and the
content of important substances are monitored. Quality control takes place
throughout the production process, and each production batch is tested.
Organic Tremella combines organic cultivation, a clean composition, practical
capsule form, and a traditional view of beauty, vitality, and long-term
body care.

Purity and control at every step
The quality of a mushroom product is not determined by a single step. From
organic cultivation and standardised extraction to laboratory testing and
manufacturing systems according to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
standards – each phase affects the resulting quality
and purity of the product.
Mushrooms are grown in a controlled organic environment, production takes
place according to clearly defined procedures, and each batch undergoes
laboratory testing. The authenticity of the raw material, purity, content of
important substances, and the possible presence of undesirable substances are
checked. Thanks to this, you know that in the capsules you are getting a truly
high-quality mushroom product with a clean composition and reliable
origin, which is not created by chance, but by careful
step-by-step work.
Tremella, the snow mushroom traditionally associated with beauty and
Yin care
Tremella, or Tremella fuciformis, is an edible mushroom with
a very unusual appearance. Its white to almost transparent fruiting body has a
smooth, shiny, and gelatinous character and forms delicate wavy
lobes resembling snow, seaweed, or a tiny jellyfish. Its characteristic
appearance is precisely what gives rise to the English names snow
mushroom and white jelly mushroom. In Chinese tradition, it is known as
Bai Mu Er, and you may also encounter the name Yin
Er. In Japanese, it is called Hakumokui.
Tremella has a long history of use in Asia. It is mentioned in the
traditional herbal classic Shen Nong Ben Cao Jing and has been
valued for centuries not only as part of gastronomy but also in traditional
approaches to body care. It has gained particular attention due to its
association with skin and beauty.
From the perspective of TCM, Tremella is primarily associated with the
Lungs, Spleen, and Stomach. It is traditionally related to
nourishing Lung Yin, moistening dryness, and supporting body
fluids. At the same time, it is associated with Qi and blood and with
caring for the so-called centre of the body. The very connection of the themes
of Yin, fluids, delicacy, and beauty gives Tremella its unique
character among vital mushrooms. It is no coincidence that it is once again
becoming a focal point of modern wellness and beauty segments.
Tremella and scientific studies
Tremella is one of the mushrooms whose composition and naturally occurring
substances have long been the subject of scientific research. Great attention is
paid especially to Tremella fuciformis polysaccharides. The
scientific literature describes complex polysaccharides composed, among other
things, of mannose, xylose, fucose, glucose, and galactose,
along with uronic acids. Tremella also naturally contains amino acids,
unsaturated fatty acids, minerals, vitamin D, polyphenols, and
phenolic acids.
Published research on Tremella deals with topics such as properties
of mushroom polysaccharides, antioxidant activity, oxidative stress, photoaging,
skin moisture, biological activity of polysaccharides, and functional
nutrition.
Whole mushroom vs. extract
Our Tremella mushroom contains whole fruiting body powder.
This means it is not an isolated substance or a highly concentrated extract, but
a more natural variant. You will appreciate this form if you prefer minimally
processed food supplements, a gentler effect, and want to incorporate Tremella
into your regimen as close to its natural form as possible.
Why capsules
Tremella is known in Asian gastronomy for its distinctly gelatinous
and jelly-like consistency. Traditionally, it is added to soups,
desserts, and other dishes, but its regular preparation may not suit a modern
lifestyle.
Plant-based capsules offer a simple and practical solution.
They do not require soaking, cooking, or other preparation. They are easy to
dose and can be kept handy at home, at work, or on the go.
We deliberately chose smaller size 1 capsules to make them
easier to swallow, even for people who have difficulty with larger capsules.
