Are you looking for a vital mushroom associated with balance, lightness, and
inner peace?
Discover Poria in a premium concentrated form. Poria Premium
Organic contains a dual extract of the sclerotium of Poria
cocos (Poria cocos, Wolfiporia extensa), a
traditional vital mushroom known in Chinese medicine as Fu
Ling.
Poria may not be as well-known as Reishi or Shiitake, but in traditional
Chinese medicine, it has a history of use spanning over
2,000 years. It appears in ancient Chinese herbals and remains one of
the traditionally valued mushrooms associated with harmonisation of the
centre, working with so-called dampness, and calming the Shen
spirit.
From a TCM perspective, Poria is primarily associated with the Heart,
Spleen, Kidneys, Lungs, and Small Intestine. Its nature is often
described as balanced, and its taste as sweet and bland. Traditionally, it
relates to themes of fluid balance, lightness of body, Spleen Qi, and
inner peace.
Poria Premium Organic is produced using a dual extraction
method. Water extraction primarily focuses on polysaccharides,
including beta-glucans, while alcohol extraction helps to
obtain other naturally occurring bioactive substances, such as
triterpenoids and sterols. The resulting broad-spectrum extract
respects the natural composition of the mushroom, but in a more
concentrated form and with higher bioavailability. The product contains
no alcohol residues.
The extract is standardised to a high content of polysaccharides and
beta-(1,3/1,6)-D-glucans. It contains ≥ 30%
beta-glucans, and one recommended daily dose provides 270 mg
of beta-(1,3/1,6)-D-glucans.
The practical form of vegan capsules can be easily
incorporated into your daily routine at home, at work, or on the go. The
capsules are plant-based and are smaller size 1 for easier
swallowing.
Discover Poria in premium strength. A concentrated dual
extract for all who want to incorporate a traditional vital mushroom associated
with balance, lightness, and inner peace into their
routine.

Laboratory-verified quality and transparency
We believe that trust begins with openness. That's why every batch of
mushroom extracts used undergoes thorough laboratory testing to
verify quality, purity, safety, and the content of important bioactive
substances. Controls include microbiological safety, heavy metal
content, pesticides, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs),
and declared active substances, including beta-glucans. The quality of
the product is not only created during the final inspection. The entire process
is monitored, from organic cultivation through raw material processing and
extraction to laboratory control of individual batches. Production takes place
in systems operating according to standardised procedures and GMP principles. By

Poria, Fu Ling for balance, lightness, and a calm mind
Poria, or Poria cocos (Poria cocos, Wolfiporia
extensa), is a wood-decaying fungus from the Polyporaceae family. In
traditional Chinese medicine, it is known as Fu Ling, in
Japanese as Bukuryo, and in English sources, you may also encounter the name
Hoelen.
Unlike many well-known vital mushrooms, Poria is characterised by its
underground sclerotium. This is a compact formation that can
resemble a coconut – hence the Czech name ‚pornatka kokosová‘ (coconut
Poria). Sclerotia can reach considerable sizes in nature, and the mushroom is
traditionally associated primarily with pine trees.
Poria originates from East and Southeast Asia and has been used in China for
over 2,000 years. It is also mentioned in traditional Chinese
herbals and is one of the well-known raw materials of classical Chinese
medicine. The historical and TCM contexts of Poria are described in detail in
the provided expert material.
From a TCM perspective, Fu Ling is associated with dispelling
so-called dampness, strengthening Spleen Qi, and calming the Shen
spirit. Its balanced nature is traditionally valued precisely in the
context of long-term care for inner harmony. In the traditional understanding,
Poria thus differs from ‚performance-oriented‘ vital mushrooms. It is
associated more with themes of balance, lightness, a calm mind, and a
stable centre.

Poria and expert studies
Poria is currently the subject of extensive expert interest. Research focuses
primarily on substances naturally occurring in the sclerotium of Poria
cocos, especially polysaccharides, beta-(1→3) and
beta-(1→6)-glucans, triterpenoids, sterols, and other bioactive
components.
Characteristic substances described in the scientific literature include, for
example, pachymic acid, tumulosic acid, eburicoic acid, trametenolic
acid, and poric acids. The expert background also mentions pachyman and
other polysaccharide fractions.
Published studies and expert reviews address Poria in connection with topics
such as biological activity of polysaccharides and triterpenoids,
antioxidant activity, immunological processes, metabolic mechanisms, and the
nervous system.
These findings are part of ongoing scientific research and should not be
understood as approved health claims regarding the effects of this food
supplement.
Why capsules
Poria was used in various forms in traditional approaches and was part of
decoctions or complex mixtures. However, modern lifestyles often require
more practical solutions.
Plant-based capsules allow for precise and easy dosing
without measuring powder or preparing a decoction. You can easily incorporate
them into your daily routine and have them on hand at home, at work, or on
the go.
We deliberately chose smaller size 1 capsules to make them
easier to swallow, even for people who find larger capsules uncomfortable.
What is a dual extract
Dual extracts from the Premium range are created by combining water and
alcohol extraction, which allows for a broader spectrum of naturally occurring
bioactive substances found in mushrooms. While water extraction primarily
focuses on polysaccharides, including beta-glucans, alcohol extraction releases
other valuable components such as triterpenoids, sterols, and other bioactive
compounds.
By combining these two methods, a comprehensive extract is created that
respects the natural composition of the mushroom, but in a more concentrated
form with a higher proportion of health-beneficial substances and better
bioavailability. Our premium range of extracts is produced in certified organic
quality, without the use of synthetic additives and without any unnecessary
excipients. We emphasise purity, the origin of raw materials, and gentle
processing to preserve the natural quality of this traditionally used
mushroom.
This product is a high-quality food supplement from natural sources, with an
emphasis on purity, origin, and precise processing. The product contains no
alcohol residues.
