Cocoa beans – the irreplaceable basis of all BEWITELLAs

The basic ingredient of BEWITELLA is 100% natural organic RAW fermented unroasted cocoa beans. After sun-drying, the cocoa beans are shelled and crushed into nibs. These are then ground with other ingredients into a uniform mass in the gentlest way possible.

Unroasted cocoa beans are a significant source of vitamins, minerals, and valuable phytonutrients, as well as high-quality cocoa butter, plant proteins, and effective antioxidants. They contain easily digestible magnesium and organic sulphur.

To adhere to the principles of a RAW product, so-called tempering is omitted during production. This typically takes place at temperatures above 47 °C. Cocoa and shea butter, without tempering, naturally form relatively stable sharp-edged crystals, and partially released fat can rise to the surface of the product = a patina forms.

BEWITELLA products meet all RAW principles – using the gentlest technology available, we regulate the temperature of the production process so that it does not exceed 42 °C. This prevents the loss of valuable, heat-unstable substances and natural enzymes, and preserves the high value of the resulting product.
