Exotic and multifunctional coconut
Coconut water is a 100% natural ingredient. It is naturally found inside
green coconuts and thus complements the portfolio of products from
coconut palms.
The well-known coconut palm (Cocos nucifera) is
native to tropical areas near water, mostly in Southeast Asia. People have been
cultivating and using it for over 3,000 years. Coconut is a rich source of
energy, fibre, minerals, and vitamins. Coconut oil, coconut milk, or coconut
flour are obtained from the flesh of ripe coconuts, and textile fibres are made
from the husk. Sweet coconut syrup comes from the nectar of the flowers. Up to
500 ml of clear coconut water is hidden inside unripe coconuts.
What is the difference between coconut water and coconut
whipping cream?
Coconut water is a clear liquid naturally
obtained from unripe coconuts. It is low in calories, refreshing, and hydrating.
It contains no fats, but is rich in electrolytes, minerals, and vitamins. It is
used as a drink, and can replace plain water in mixed drinks or smoothies.
In contrast, coconut cream is made from the flesh of the
coconut. It has a thick, creamy consistency and is rich in
healthy fats, among other things. You can use it as a substitute for cream or
whipped cream. You can also flavour it with natural flavourings. Try it
yourself – BEWIT
Coconut Whipping Cream, ORGANIC.
How to use
Coconut water is delicious on its own, best served chilled. It can be added
to smoothies or cocktails. It serves as a base for exotic soups, and can replace
some of the liquid in baking recipes. It is also suitable for preparing sorbets
and ice creams.
Recommended storage
Store organic coconut water ideally in the fridge before
opening. At temperatures below 25 °C, it may have a natural tendency to
solidify and form small dispersed particles – this is a natural phenomenon
that does not affect the quality of the product. After opening, transfer the
coconut water from the can to another sealed container, keep it in the
fridge and consume within 72 hours.
