Exotic and multifunctional coconut
This cream is made from coconut milk, which is obtained from the flesh of
ripe coconuts.
These are the fruits of the coconut palm (Cocos nucifera), which is
native to tropical regions near water, mostly in Southeast Asia. People have
been cultivating and using it for over 3,000 years. Coconut is a rich source of
energy, fibre, minerals, and vitamins. Coconut oil, coconut milk, and flour are
obtained from coconuts, coconut water is found inside, and textile fibres are
made from the husk of the nut.
What is the difference between coconut cream and coconut water?
Coconut cream is made from the flesh of the coconut. It has
a thick, creamy consistency and is rich in healthy fats, among
other things. You can use it as a substitute for cream or whipped cream. You can
also flavour it with natural flavourings.
In contrast, coconut water is a clear
liquid naturally obtained from unripe coconuts. It is low in calories,
refreshing, and hydrating. It contains no fats but is rich in electrolytes,
minerals, and vitamins. It is used as a drink, and can replace ordinary water in
mixed drinks or smoothies. Try it yourself – BEWIT Coconut
Water, Organic.
How to use
This cream can be an alternative to classic dairy high-fat cream.
Gently stir into soups, sauces, smoothies, or drinks without whipping. You
can also use it when preparing batter, creams, or fillings. You can flavour the
cream with, for example, vanilla extract, cocoa, agave syrup, or another natural
sweetener.
Recommended storage
Store in a dry place, protect from heat and direct sunlight. Once opened,
keep refrigerated and consume within 3 days.
Water and fat components may naturally separate at temperatures below
18 °C, which is not a sign of spoilage. The product returns to its original
state when stirred or heated in a bain-marie.
A brown sediment at the bottom of the can is not a defect.
