History
Cherries through the ages
Beautifully flowering cherry trees have dotted the landscape along the Caspian and Black Seas since 300 BC. Their juicy fruit won over not only the ancient Greeks, but also the Persians and Indians. The Romans also contributed to the widespread spread of the cherry tree, thanks to whom the seedlings reached Britain and other parts of the world. [1,2]
A long-time helper
Since time immemorial they have been sought after not only for their imaginative taste, but also for their beneficial effects, which are used in folk medicine. Whether fresh or gently dried, they all represent an important helper. [1,2,3]
Origin and cultivation
Fully ripe, gently dried
The red-coloured fruits of the Sour Cherry are harvested at the fully ripe stage, when they are fully developed. Immediately after harvesting, the cherries are cleaned, pitted and gently dried.
Free of sulphur dioxide and added sugar
The cherries are not treated with sulphur dioxide in the processing process, resulting in a darker colour and milder taste. They are not sweetened.

Sour cherries are a useful fruit full of vitamins and other naturally occurring compounds associated with many supportive effects. For their refreshing properties, they are also a nice pick-me-up.

Ako vznikla ideálna maškrtka? 🤔 Dnes som prvý krát ochutnala Bewitellu na teplých palacinkách (mojich obľúbených) a to vám poviem… parádička 😋 Krásne sa mi na nich rozpustila a s pár sušenými višňami je to úplný TOP 🥰
Sušené višně jsem měl snad poprvé a výborná kyselkavá chuť mě dostala tak, že po 2 dnech není v misce ani jedna. Bohužel jsou i vyprodané, což jen potvrzuje, jak jsou výborné.

At již do kaší anebo jako malé zdravé pohoštění pro přátele spolu s oříšky a bio raw rozinkama nebo i Dětem jako svačinku do školky, školy, mají-li rádi sušené ovoce.
