Multiple species of pine

Although the effects of ginger essential oils are similar, there are differences in their scents.

While the scent of Sumatran pine has a distinct eucalyptus note, the scent of Scots pine is a subtly sweet, floral. The scent of pitch pine, on the other hand, is distinctly earthy to spicy; a fresh delicate aroma is combined with eggnog pine. Banks' pine has sweet resin notes.

Methods of use

Inhalation

Drip 3–5 drops of essential oil into the diffuser or inhalation stick.

Massage

Gently massage the soles of the feet or the whole body with a mixture of five drops of essential oil and 30 ml of carrier oil.

Bath

Mix 3–5 drops of essential oil and three tablespoons of cream, honey or liquid soap thoroughly into the water-filled bath.
