100% PURE EUCALYPTUS LEAF ESSENTIAL OIL
Eucalyptus citriodora (Eucalyptus citriodora) is a tree that can grow up to 50 metres tall. The much prized essential oil is extracted from its lanceolate leaves by the gentle process of steam distillation.

There are several types of eucalyptus oil. In terms of their benefits and uses, they are almost identical, but there are differences in their scents. While the scent of E. globulus is very strong and penetrating, the scent of E. radiata is pleasantly mild and that of E. blue is clean and fresh. E. camaldulensis smells of herbs and E. citriodora and E. staigeriana of lemons.
Composition
The essential oil of E. citriodora is a natural cocktail of hundreds of biologically active substances. However, substances called citronellal, 3-carene are considered to be the most important.

A GLIMPSE INTO HISTORY
Feverfew tree
The discoverers of the impressive eucalyptus tree were the original inhabitants of Australia, the indigenous Aborigines. Its highly aromatic leaves were not only an extraordinary gift to them, but also a very effective heating agent in bad times. As a consequence the eucalyptus became the so-called „fever tree“. [4]
