How jackfruit powder is made
The powder is made from the pulp of jackfruit fruit, which
has been hand-harvested, gently dried and then finely ground. Contains no
artificial ingredients.
The breadfruit or jackfruit is a tropical fruit from the
breadfruit tree (Artocarpus heterophyllus) originally from Southeast
Asia. It is one of the largest tree fruits in the world. Its flesh has a unique
fibrous consistency which, when prepared in a certain way, resembles torn meat,
and it is also eaten raw as a fresh fruit, dried or as part of sweet dishes,
jams, etc.
Due to its name, it is sometimes confused with breadfruit (Artocarpus
altilis), which comes from the closely related breadfruit tree, that has
some similar but also different properties.
Method of use
