BEWIT Myrrh Kua

Also known as: myrrh tree kua

Essential oil from the lesser-known type of myrrh is an excellent cosmetic ingredient. It is beneficial for dry or mature skin. It softens, hydrates and refreshes the skin. It supports the smoothing of fine wrinkles and regeneration in the presence of surface imperfections.

In addition to skin and body cosmetics, it is used in oral hygiene products (mouthwashes, gargles or toothpastes), soaps or cleaning products.

It is also popular with perfume manufacturers. It fixes scents and, with its heavier sweet aroma, is well-suited for oriental and sensual compositions.

It deepens breathing and can provide relief during seasonal colds or loss of voice. It also supports digestion and appetite. In traditional medicine, it is considered a remedy for women's issues. It boosts the overall resilience of the body.

It facilitates meditation and accompanies rituals. It calms and relaxes the mind, and can help with stress, anxious thoughts or emotional exhaustion.

Different types of myrrh

Different types of myrrh have similar effects, but differ in details and smell. Myrrh kua has spicier notes in its scent, such as pepper, musk, and mint, with a sweetness that is more caramel-like.

Support for female energy

Myrrh is traditionally considered to represent feminine energy and has been used in rituals associated with femininity and also at night, while masculine energy is represented by incense which is suitable during the day.

Caution during pregnancy and breastfeeding

The use of myrrh is not advisable during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Note

Due to the terpenoid content and other naturally occurring substances, essential oils extracted from the resin dry out easily when exposed to oxygen for long periods of time. A consequence and natural characteristic of the product is a resinous coating that forms near the dropper and the neck of the essential oil bench.

If you want to prevent the formation of a resinous coating, after each use of essential oil, clean the dropper and its surrounding area thoroughly with a dry and clean tissue. Then close the bottle tightly and store in a dark and dry place.

Methods of use

Skin and body care

Massage the serum of 5 drops of essential oil and 30 ml of cosmetic oil gently into the skin or scalp, or perform a full body massage.

Perfume

Mix 1 drop of essential oil with 10 ml of jojoba oil in a roll-on bottle.

Inhalation

Put 3–5 drops of essential oil into the diffuser or inhalation stick.
