Various Roses
There are several types of essential oils extracted from rose – the queen
of flowers. They have similar effects, but differ slightly in scent. White Rose
(Rosa alba) is the gentlest of them. It's unobtrusive, its scent is
velvety with a citrus hint. Rose of
Damascus (Rosa damascena) smells full and sweet, with distinct
signs of floral and green freshness. Hundred-leaved
Rose (Rosa centifolia) has a more intoxicating and seductive
character.
The rarest essences
Rose essential oils are very rare, as it takes a huge amount
of raw material to extract them. For 1 kg of essential oil, 3–4 tons of fresh
flowers are needed. That’s why it’s one of the most
expensive oils in the world.
For this reason too, we offer a more affordable variant of
rose essential oil in MCT oil. While the undiluted version is a
100% essential oil that must first be diluted in a carrier oil for application
to the skin, this version is already diluted and ready to apply directly to the
skin. However, it is not suitable for a diffuser.

A sensitivity test is recommended before

essential oils, so it is essential to always consult a specialist and take
special care when using them. Sensitive and chronically
ill individuals, pregnant and nursing women should also always consult
a certified aromatherapist or physician when using a blend. Anyone with
persistent feelings of discomfort should do the same. Great caution is also
required if animals are in the vicinity during your inhalation. They need to be
given time to leave the room.

K růži stolisté mám spojené vzpomínky na babičku, která ji
pěstovala. Asi pro výběr mého prvního esenciálního oleje z růže padl
právě na tento druh. Pořídila jsem si ho ve skvělé Bewiťácké akci, kdy
byly jednodruhové oleje v 50% slevě. Vůně je opravdu nádherná, hladivá,
i přesto že je tato verze ředěná v jojobovém oleji i tak je vůně
dostatečně intenzivní. Snad někdy pořídím i čistý olej.
