Evening Primrose oil

High-value vegetable oil that really comes in handy. Great for vegetable salads, legume dishes and vegetable spreads. Because of its nutritional properties, you can also consume it directly, so-called „by the spoonful“.

History

Edible and highly beneficial

For centuries, evening primrose has been avery beneficial and positively regarded herb. Roots, leaves, seeds, buds and flowers. Almost all its parts are edible and widely usable. [1]

Star of the night

One of the peculiarities of the evening primrose is that it opens its beautiful yellow flowers at dusk, when night falls. Only nocturnal butterflies, especially the pupal butterfly, participate in its pollination. [2]

The triumph of Native Americans

Evening primrose infusions and later evening primrose oil have won over many cultures around the world for their soothing and powerful regenerative effects. They also became popular with Native Americans, for whom they could be a first aid for skin inflammations and unpleasant rashes. [2,3]

Origin and cultivation

Gently extracted, cold pressed

The clear oil with a light yellow tinge is obtained from the seeds of the two-year-old evening primrose in a gentle way,by cold pressing. As a result, it retains the maximum amount of vitamins, minerals and unique biologically active substances.

Używam do pesto, humusu, sałatek.

Robię mieszankę w pięknej buteleczce z Bewitt z olejkiem z kadzidłowca i Fenkul.
