Paul Brunton (1898 – 1981) was a British philosopher, mystic, traveller
and adventurer. He studied Western, but mainly Eastern spiritual teachings and
techniques. He was one of the first to introduce yoga and meditation to the West
in an understandable way. He is the author of a number of books on the subject
of spiritual seeking and growth. The Secret Path is one of his
