The plant, which originated in Egypt but has been cultivated in Spain, France and Russia since antiquity, is also known as „false anise“. It is a half-metre tall herb with dark green leaves and tiny white pinkish flowers and tiny seeds. The spice is also known as Indian cumin or jeera.
On a psychological level, Cumin essential oil restores our ability to concentrate. It is used for quick solutions in situations where there is a risk of losing mental stability and resilience, as it invokes a sense of security. It will support steadfast determination and intimate commitment.
