Jasmine absolute is obtained by a process of extraction from a solution, instead of steam distillation as is usually the case with traditional essential oils. The plant is native to northern India, Persia and China.
The exquisite, refreshing and sweet aroma appeals to the mind and emotions. Supports the energy of the heart, calms, relieves tension and uplifts. At the same time relieves impatience and anxiety. Renews creativity, awakens intuition and the ability to create original ideas.
Jasmine is also a well-known aphrodisiac. It has been popular among women for centuries for its intoxicating and seductive scent.
As a perfume, it has been recognised in the East for centuries. In India, it is called the „Queen of the Night“ because it smells stronger after sunset. Along with hyacinth and rose, jasmine appears in Sufi poetry as a symbol of love and spiritual desire.
