Cypriol (Cyperus scariosus) – a perennial herb native to India. The resulting essential oil is extracted from its flowers by a gentle process, steam distillation.
Is cypriol oil an excellent alternative to the notorious patchouli. It is mainly used in perfumery, where it is added to many men's and unisex perfumes for its distinctive scent and excellent fixing properties.
Cypriol essential oil is a natural cocktail of hundreds of biologically active substances. However, substances called Cyperene and α-copaene are considered pivotal.
Because of its ability to induce feelings of calm and relaxation, cypriol oil is anexcellent meditation aid. Together with its sweet-woody scent, it creates a truly exceptional atmosphere thatis perfect for meditation, quiet contemplation and deep introspection.
After dilution, it can also be applied to the skin of the whole body, which will be nourished, supported and beautifully scented. You can also add it to homemade moisturisers and nourishing oil serums for its excellent harmonising and surprisingly gentle action.

As such, cypriol oil was highly valued in ancient times, when it was used together with frankincense for many religious purposes in temples around the world. However, its beneficial effects on the mind and body were not explored in detail and carefully archived until Ayurvedic physicians, thanks to whom cypriol is still known and popularly used today.

We blend all essential oil blends at our headquarters in Ostrava, according to our own formulas, which are based on the most modern world studies as well as the thousand of years-of traditions of Eastern medicine.
We always advocate and strive for a maximally respectful approach to the natural environment. That is to say, a gentle and as natural as possible way of growing, harvesting and processing plants. Free of herbicides, pesticides, insecticides, contaminants, chemical residues and genetic modification.

Our products (roll-ons, essential oil blends, single oils) are made exclusively from 100% natural essential oils. Since the quality and chemical composition of these natural raw materials depend on many variables such as the plant’s origin, the season, the climate conditions at harvest, and the processing time – it is only natural that no batch of a single essential oil will ever be 100% identical to the previous one. This inevitable natural variability means that even our final essential oil blend may vary slightly in its aromatic notes or intensity. These subtle nuances are, however, proof of the product’s authenticity and natural composition, not a sign of reduced quality. We always follow a precise recipe and use the highest quality ingredients. The quality of CTEO® allows for all common aromatherapy applications. However, it is always necessary to respect the principles of safe use and not to exceed the recommended dosage of essential oils. A sensitivity test is recommended before application to the skin. (Try a small amount of essential oil diluted according to the carrier oil formula on the wrist. This is how you find out if the mixture suits you.) Children are extremely sensitive to the effects of essential oils, so it is essential to always consult a specialist and take special care when using them. Sensitive and chronically ill individuals, pregnant and nursing women should also always consult a certified aromatherapist or physician when using a blend. Anyone with persistent feelings of discomfort should do the same. Great caution is also required if animals are in the vicinity during your inhalation. They need to be given time to leave the room.
