Do you want to bring a breath of excellent and light Mediterranean
gastronomy into your diet?
Trust our mild and 100% pure extra virgin
olive oil. It comes from the finest olives that ripened under
the southern sun, were hand-picked, and mechanically pressed at low pressure and
low temperatures to yield their best.
Olive oil forms the basis of the Mediterranean diet. It
enhances dishes with its typical olive taste and aroma. Its high
nutritional value and unmistakable sensory properties make it
ideal for cold dishes.
It is perfect for salads, spreads, dips, pasta, for
garnishing cold and hot soups, but also simply on bread. Spaniards love bread
with olive oil and tomato, while for Greeks, bread scented with thyme and olive
oil is typical.
Olive oil stands out with a high proportion of beneficial unsaturated
fatty acids, which can be up to 70%. Gentle production preserves the
maximum amount of minerals, fat-soluble
vitamins, and other important substances, including
polyphenols, which act as antioxidants.
Olive oil has a beneficial effect on the entire body and helps maintain a
slim figure. Moreover, it benefits not only from within but
also from without. It is often an ingredient in nourishing and caring
cosmetics for dry and problematic skin or anti-ageing
products.
A versatile green treasure for a healthy lifestyle.

Olive oil proven over millennia
The European olive tree Olea Europaea is one of the oldest
cultivated crops. It originated in Iran but soon spread to areas around
the Mediterranean Sea. The ancient Greeks highly valued it, for whom it was a
symbol of wealth, abundance, power, fertility, and peace. The Bible mentions the
olive tree, olives, and oil from them many times. This tree is an important
symbol for Christians, Jews, and Muslims. From ancient times, it has been used
for cosmetic, culinary, and medicinal purposes.
Olive trees are specific in that they grow very slowly, producing their first
olives only after twenty or more years of growth. However, they thrive for an
exceptionally long time, with trees bearing fruit for up to
150 years being no exception. Olive groves thus form a
valuable family heritage passed down from generation to
generation.
Just as we cannot imagine the arid Mediterranean landscape without the
typical twisted trees with grey-green leaves, neither is the
local cuisine conceivable without olives and olive
oil.
Extra virgin – the best quality and taste
Olive oil is produced by pressing olives. According to the production
process, it is divided into several groups. The highest quality is extra
virgin olive oil, from the first cold pressing.
To bear this designation, the olives must be processed within
24 hours of harvest, exclusively mechanically, at
low pressure and low temperatures up to
27 °C. During the pressing of such high-quality olive oil, no solvents or
other chemicals are used. The oil is then only filtered to remove olive
residues.
The acidity value of the olive oil is 0.58%, which indicates its high
quality.
Glass packaging for the oil is only available for 750 ml. The 1l and
5l packages are plastic.
Production method
Cold-pressed – oil obtained only mechanically at low
temperatures without the use of chemicals. It is suitable for cold dishes.
