Grapefruit essential oils have similar effects but differ in their scents. While pink is sweeter, white is slightly more acidic. The SUN version is unique in that it does not cause skin reactions when exposed to sunlight.

SUN version

This version is made through the steam distillation process of the peel of the fruit, unlike regular grapefruit essential oils, which are obtained through cold pressing. Due to the method used, this essential oil is not photosensitive, so you can safely go out in the sun after applying it to your skin. It is also non-toxic and non-irritating.

Warning

Pay close attention to the storage conditions of this essential oil. Requires a dry, cool and dark environment, ideally a refrigerator. Otherwise, it tends to oxidize quickly.

Methods of use

Inhalation

Put 3–5 drops of essential oil into the diffuser or inhalation stick.

Massage

Gently massage the soles of the feet or the whole body with a mixture of 3–5 drops of essential oil and 30 ml of carrier oil.

Skin and body care

Massage the serum of 5 drops of essential oil and 30 ml of cosmetic oil gently into the skin or scalp, or perform a full body massage.
