What are the main functional ingredients of the deodorant?

When developing this deodorant, we made sure not to suppress the beneficial sweating itself, but only to prevent the occurrence of bacteria in the underarms that break down sweat and cause unpleasant odours. The result is this unique natural formula:

Magnesium hydroxide – reduces the acidic pH of the skin, prevents bacterial growth, and eliminates unpleasant odours, without clogging pores or abrading the skin. In nature, it occurs as the mineral brucite, which is a white solid with low water solubility.

Coconut and almond oil – cleanse, nourish, and soften the skin.

Body butters and wax – create a protective layer and hydrate the skin.

Tapioca starch – absorbs moisture (sweat and sebum) and helps keep the skin dry. It leaves a pleasantly soft powdery feel on the skin. It is also suitable for sensitive skin.

What is behind the creation of the deodorant?

We wanted to create a daily hygiene aid that combines our years of cosmetology experience with aromatherapy know-how. After a year of development and dozens of laboratory and user tests, you too can enjoy a result that, in its scent, composition, and effects, is one of a kind in the Czech Republic.

How to use the deodorant

Apply a pea-sized amount to thoroughly washed underarms and spread thoroughly. If necessary, repeat the application at any time during the day. Depending on the level of physical activity, the deodorant will protect you from odour for the entire day. The practical BEWIT Bamboo Spatula will also help you with correct application, which we recommend especially if you are just starting out with natural cream deodorants.

How to make your own scented deodorant

Do you enjoy essential oil crafting? Create an original deodorant and enjoy your beloved scent all day long.

• Prepare a saucepan, Pure deodorant, your favourite essential oil, a kitchen glove, a spatula or spoon, and a clean workspace.
• Pour a little water into the saucepan and place the open deodorant into it.
• Slowly heat the saucepan with water on the hob and let the deodorant melt: for no longer than 5–7 minutes.
• Turn off the saucepan with water just before boiling point.
• While melting, carefully stir the deodorant with a thin, clean tool (e.g., the end of a spoon or a wooden spatula).
• After 5 to 7 minutes, remove the deodorant from the water bath, add 0.4 g (approx. 13 drops) of essential oil, and mix the blend thoroughly to ensure the essential oil is evenly dispersed.
• Let the deodorant solidify for at least 1 hour at room temperature.

Practical tips for getting started

Are you worried that you might apply too much deodorant to your skin or spread it incorrectly, leaving marks on dark clothing? Put your worries aside. This deodorant is gentle not only on your skin but also on the environment. Any stains on clothing can be easily washed out – even in lukewarm water. When using, also remember that deodorant, whether natural or otherwise, unlike antiperspirant, does not prevent sweating itself, but minimises undesirable odour.

How to store the deodorant

Store it in a dry place at normal room temperature. Avoid excessive temperature differences, as well as very low or high temperatures (above 40 °C), at which the deodorant could slightly harden or, conversely, melt. Under optimal conditions, the deodorant will last 1 year.
