Basil Linalool, Organic
Also known as: sweet basil, Grand Vert
Try an essential oil that will calm you, yet invigorate you.
Basil Linalool, Organic brings a unique combination of calm, alertness and
focus, toning and relaxation. The linalool chemotype is gentle and
completely safe compared to common basil types.
Basil will help you release accumulated tension and internal
constriction. It is traditionally associated with a feeling of
lightness in the abdomen, head and muscles, comfort during
women's days and support for free breathing. It will strengthen memory and
concentration and restore vitality and
appetite.
On the skin, it acts as a toning and cleansing ingredient.
It is especially suitable for problematic or
tired skin, to which it will add freshness and vitality. Thanks
to its antioxidant properties, it can also be used in products for
mature skin. It soothes irritation and is also excellent for
scalp care.
If you enjoy creating, mix it with Neem Seed Oil for
problematic skin care. Or add a few drops to a hair mask made from Organic
Refined Shea Butter to give an oilier scalp a feeling of cleanliness and
hair density and revitalisation. It is also suitable for a
sauna blend.
Basil represents an exceptional bridge between calming and
invigorating. Unlike lavender, it soothes but does not put you to
sleep; on the contrary, it sharpens the mind. It helps to calm stress and
balance turbulent emotions. It is therefore excellent for
students, managers and anyone dealing with overwork,
agitation or mental overload.
Its fresh herbaceous scent will purify the air and ward off
insects. For example, drop it into an Aroma Diffuser Fine
and create a calm and supportive atmosphere around you. For quick
harmonisation, you can carry basil essential oil with you in an Inhaler Stick and
inhale whenever you need to.
For skin and air purification, its effect is complemented by
essential oils Tea
tree, Lemon,
distilled and Rosemary. For
mental and nervous fatigue, try combining it with essential oils Marjoram, Orange, Frankincense
Serrata, Geranium or Rosewood.
One oil for a balanced mind and a vital
body.
Benefits
- calms and supports concentration
- restores a feeling of lightness
- strengthens mental resilience
A gentler variant of sweet basil
Unlike common sweet basil essential oil, which requires caution when used,
Basil Linalool does not contain estradiol. This is considered risky and
unsuitable for long-term use, during pregnancy, breastfeeding and in children
under 5 years of age. The linalool chemotype is completely safe.
More types of basil
Although they have many similar effects, essential oils from different types
and chemotypes of basil differ in their scent.
Our sweet basil chemotype linalool (Ocimum basilicum) smells
intensely and sweetly herbaceous. Sweet basil (Ocimum basilicum)
essential oil has a herbaceous, slightly woody aroma similar to anise, whereas
holy basil (Ocimum sanctum) essential oil, due to its spiciness and
richness of scent, is more reminiscent of cloves. In camphor basil (Ocimum
kilimandscharicum) essential oil, you will smell a delicate, earthy camphor
with hints of blueberries and lavender.
