Care for your skin and hair with nourishing organic mango butter. It spreads easily, absorbs quickly, and leaves no greasy feeling. You can use it on its own or as a base for making creams, balms, body butters, and hair cosmetics.
Would you like thorough yet light nourishment for your skin that doesn't leave a heavy, greasy film?
Get refined organic mango butter, a versatile cosmetic raw material derived from the kernels of mango fruit. It contains fatty acids, especially oleic, stearic, and linoleic acids, vitamins, and antioxidants that soften, nourish, hydrate, and protect the skin from excessive dryness.
Upon contact with the skin, it melts quickly. It spreads easily and, compared to some richer butters, leaves a lighter and less greasy feeling. This makes it suitable not only for dry and mature skin but also for skin that doesn't tolerate heavy products.
It helps keep the skin soft and supple. You'll appreciate it for caring for dry, rough, or stressed areas such as hands, elbows, knees, or feet. It's suitable after sun exposure, shaving, or epilation, providing soothing and regenerating care. It also smooths dry and damaged hair, giving it softness and elasticity.
Thanks to the refining process, the butter has a light colour and a neutral scent, so it won't affect the final aroma or appearance of your cosmetic product when creating. It therefore combines well with other vegetable oils, hydrolats, active ingredients, essential oils and essential blends.
Mango butter can be easily incorporated into your own cosmetic recipes. It's suitable for making face and body creams, whipped butters, lip balms, hand creams, massage products, soaps, after-sun products, and hair cosmetics.

How mango butter is made
Mango butter is produced by pressing the seeds of the Indian mango tree (Mangifera indica). Originating from South Asia, it is one of the longest cultivated fruit trees in the region. In its homeland, virtually the entire tree was traditionally used. It was considered sacred, and its planting could be seen as a meritorious religious act.
Inside the fruit, there is a hard stone with a kernel rich in fat. After separation from the pulp, the kernels are cleaned, dried, and pressed to obtain mango fat, which is also used in cosmetics. Subsequent refining removes stronger colours, scents, and undesirable impurities. The result is a light butter with a neutral aroma and a fine consistency, which easily combines with other cosmetic raw materials.
