Cardamom black or green?

Although they have the same names and belong to the same ginger family, they belong to different genera. The effects of their essential oils are similar, but they differ in scent. While green cardamom, also known as true cardamom (Elettaria cardamomum), is sweeter, more herbaceous and balsamic, the essential oil of black cardamom (Amomum subulatum) has a smokier, woody aroma.

Methods of use

Inhalation

Drip 3–5 drops of essential oil into the diffuser or inhalation stick.

Bath

Mix 3–5 drops of essential oil and three tablespoons of cream, honey or liquid soap thoroughly into the water-filled bath.

Seasoning of dishes

Just dip the tip of the toothpick in essential oil and stir it in 20 ml of vegetable oil (e.g. sunflower oil). A few drops of the prepared mixture, season the finished dish.

To jest z tych olejków dla wybrednego zmysłu zapachu. Intensywny, mocny, ciężki a zarazem odprężający zapach. Jak perfumy z najwyższej półki. Najpierw drażni nos a później pięknie wypełnia nasze zmysły. Olejek o tym zapachu nie jest dla każdego, swoją mocą intensywności moze odstraszyć ale pięknie wplywa na wentylację dróg oddechowych.

Kardamon je jeden z niekoľkých esenciálnych olejov, ktoré používam aj pri varení. Pri varení nepoužívam kardamon veľmi často, preto by sa v tobolkách alebo pomletý časom znehodnotil. Esenciálny olej je preto praktickejší – pre terapeutické účely a keď treba je po ruke na varenie.
