Do you enjoy evenings by candlelight and want to make one that is environmentally friendly?

Use soy wax flakes as the main ingredient. It is a wonderful choice not only for making organic candles, but also as part of natural cosmetics. It is also suitable for vegans, 100% natural and easy to work with. It is an excellent substitute for beeswax.

It has a lower melting point than paraffin wax, for example, which means your soy candles will burn for really long time and more evenly. Our soy wax is completely pure, without chemical additives. With a natural wick it produces minimal smoke, soot and toxins when burning.

It preserves scents exceptionally well, so just a few drops of your chosen essential oil will make your candles smell wonderful, even unlit. You can also create wax scented decoration to repel insects or enhance the air in a room.

Soy wax gives homemade cosmetic products a smooth and creamy texture and can also be used for thickening or solidifying. Therefore, it is commonly used in recipes for lip balms, salves, creams, ointments, as well as lipsticks and other types of decorative cosmetics.

It then provides hydration to the skin, softens it and forms a soft protective layer. It is well tolerated even by sensitive skin.

How is soy wax made

Soy wax is made by hydrogenating soybean oil. This process begins with the pressing of soybean oil. This is followed by a chemical reaction called hydrogenation, which occurs under high pressure and temperature, transforming the liquid oil into a solid wax.

Soy wax appeared as an alternative to paraffin in the mid-20th century, when sustainable and eco-friendly plant-based waxes began to be more widely used. Today, it is most commonly used in the cosmetics industry and in candle production.
