Lavender, always different

While organic lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) smells clean and herbal, lavender from France (Lavandula angustifolia) is distinct, floral, and sweet, and lavender Kashmir (Lavandula angustifolia) also contains subtly bitter notes in its scent. Lavender from Albania (Lavandula angustifolia) is milder and characterised by a gently herbal, sweet scent. The essential oil of RAW lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) has a gently herbal scent.

In contrast, Spike lavender (Lavandula latifolia) is dominated by distinctly sweet and camphoraceous no­tes.
