Do you make your own cosmetic products and are you looking for a raw
material that gives them moisturizing properties?
Discover the benefits of a liquid natural moisturizer.
Glycerol is one of the most widely used ingredients in natural
moisturizing products. It is a clear, odorless, viscous liquid,
having an extraordinary ability to absorb moisture from its
surroundings.
For this property, it is popular in cosmetics because it helps retain
water in the skin. It makes it hydrated, supple,
smooth and wrinkle-free.
Make your own skin cream, body lotion, shampoo, soap, hair
mask, lip balm or aftershave. Organic glycerol will give them softening
and emollient abilities and take your home cosmetic creations to an
almost professional level.

softening properties

How glycerol is produced
Bio glycerol (glycerin) is obtained by hydrolytic processing of vegetable
oils rich in triglycerides, most often soybean or coconut oil.
Glycerin was discovered in the 18th century. Gradually, it has become a key
ingredient in many fields, e.g. in the food industry or medicine. It is used in
the cosmetic industry for its ability to effectively moisturize the skin and its
safety of use even on sensitive areas of the body.
Recommended use
Glycerol is used as an ingredient in the production of homemade
cosmetics.
Since it strongly binds water, always use it diluted, e.g.
with your favorite “hydrolat”:[https://bewit.love/…ncialni-vody?…],
so that it doesn’t dry you out unnecessarily.
Recipes for making homemade cosmetics:
Moisturizing facial mist: Mix 100 ml of rose hydrolat and
one teaspoon of glycerol in a spray bottle and shake well. The facial mist is
great for instant refreshment and intense hydration.
Moisturizing hand cream: Mix 2 tablespoons of coconut oil
and 1 tablespoon of glycerin and massage into dry skin on your hands. To
increase the effect and pleasant scent, you can add a few drops of BEWIT
essential oil, e.g. lavender.
Recommended storage
Store dry, protect from heat.
If you want to use glycerol in liquid form, keep it at room
temperature. When cooled to less than 17°C, it becomes a solid
consistency.
