Nagyon jól működik parfümalapnak is: a fás, kissé édes illat nagyon tartóssá teszi a keverékeket. Készítettem magamnak egy házi “parfümöt” amyrisszel, narancsvirággal– jó kombináció. Összességében az amyris nem harsány, nem tolakodó, mégis elképesztően sokoldalú. Ha szereted a meleg, megnyugtató, földelő illatokat, szerintem érdemes kipróbálni – nálam a polcon a “minden nap jól jöhet” kategóriába került.“

The woody, soft, tenacious scent of amyris essential oil evokes a pleasantly warm atmosphere. Due to its slightly sedative nature, it has also become anexcellent relaxation and meditation aid. It also encourages openness and fosters creative energy.
In perfumery, it is a very popular fixative that perfectly complements other fragrances. It has an irreplaceable place in the care of problematic, dry and aging skin.
Amyris (Amyris balsamifera) is a citrus tree growing up to eight metres tall. The resulting essential oil is extracted from its bark by a gentle process, steam distillation.
Amyris is also nicknamed as Indian sandalwood because of its similarity to the scent of true sandalwood (Santalum album). However, these two tree species are not botanically related and the resins obtained from them have different chemical properties. Amyris essence is therefore not a full-fledged substitute in aromatherapy.
Amyris essential oil is a natural cocktail of hundreds of biologically active substances. However, a substance called Valerianol is considered pivotal.
Amyris essential oil is an indispensable meditation aid for its relaxing and releasing energy. Its scent** evokes feelings of calm and helps to relieve unpleasant tension.** It also encourages openness and fosters creative energy.
Due to its earthy scent, amyris essential oilis popular in the production of perfumesto which it is added to stabilise fragrance blends. It is especially suitable for men's perfume compositions and has a mild aphrodisiac effect. It blends well with benzoin, cardamom, frankincense, sandalwood or patchouli, for example. A few drops can also be added to diffusers, homemade soaps and body oils.
Amyris essential oil is a common ingredient in cosmetic products designed for dry, aging, but also problematic skin. Diluted with a carrier oil,it can brighten and even skin tone.

Because of its flammable resin, amyris wood is traditionally used to make torches. For a long time it was mistaken for sandalwood until the end of the seventeenth century, when it was discovered that it was a botanically completely different tree.

Our products (roll-ons, essential oil blends, single oils) are made exclusively from 100% natural essential oils. Since the quality and chemical composition of these natural raw materials depend on many variables such as the plant’s origin, the season, the climate conditions at harvest, and the processing time – it is only natural that no batch of a single essential oil will ever be 100% identical to the previous one. This inevitable natural variability means that even our final essential oil blend may vary slightly in its aromatic notes or intensity. These subtle nuances are, however, proof of the product’s authenticity and natural composition, not a sign of reduced quality. We always follow a precise recipe and use the highest quality ingredients. The quality of CTEO® allows for all common aromatherapy applications. However, it is always necessary to respect the principles of safe use and not to exceed the recommended dosage of essential oils. A sensitivity test is recommended before application to the skin. (Try a small amount of essential oil diluted according to the carrier oil formula on the wrist. This is how you find out if the mixture suits you.) Children are extremely sensitive to the effects of essential oils, so it is essential to always consult a specialist and take special care when using them. Sensitive and chronically ill individuals, pregnant and nursing women should also always consult a certified aromatherapist or physician when using a blend. Anyone with persistent feelings of discomfort should do the same. Great caution is also required if animals are in the vicinity during your inhalation. They need to be given time to leave the room.
