SODALITE
Sodalite is a tectosilicate mineral and has a waxy lustre. It is part of the
sodalite group with other stones such as lazurite and hauyne. It comes in shades
of royal blue and purple with white calcite, but can also be found in white,
yellow, red and green. The name derives from sodium and the Greek
lithos, stone.
It gained popularity in 1891 when deposits were found in Ontario, Canada.
Because these deposits were discovered at the same time as a visit by the royal
family, Sodalite is sometimes referred to in Canada as Princess
Blue (Princess Blue). The stone has excellent energy that will
bring calmness to emotions and clear thoughts.

the key to deepening intuition. It helps to overcome the mental
obstacles we may face on a daily basis. Sodalite enhances your mental abilities
by helping to distinguish weaknesses and strengths.
Stone of high vibration
Sodalite also helps in developing one's intuition. The high vibration of the
stone helps you understand yourself and what you need to work on. Working with
sodalite helps expand the communication centre, to voice inner
thoughts that we sometimes don't understand. Sodalite connects the
throat chakra and the third eye chakra and helps us to better
understand thoughts and communicate in the right way.
HISTORY
It was first discovered by Europeans in Greenland in 1811. However, it was
additionally identified by the Carolingian civilization (2600–2000 BC) near
Lima, Peru, which used it for trade purposes.
