The mushroom components in this blend are produced using a dual extraction method. This has two phases. Water extraction releases polysaccharides, including beta-glucans. Alcohol extraction helps to obtain triterpenes and other valuable substances. The resulting broad-spectrum extract retains the natural composition of the mushroom, but in a higher concentration.

Each mushroom extract in the blend is standardised for its content of beta-glucans and polysaccharides, which are among the valued natural components of vital mushrooms and form their typical profile, complemented by the natural content of triterpenes and other valuable substances.

Lion's Mane – support for a sharp mind

Lion's Mane, or Hericium erinaceus, is an edible mushroom with a distinctive appearance. It looks like a white to creamy mane composed of long, drooping spines. This is where the English name Lion's Mane comes from. In Japan, it is known as Yamabushitake, in China as Hou Tou Gu. In the Czech Republic, you can also find it under the name hericium.

It grows on the wood of deciduous trees, especially on beeches, oaks, maples or walnuts. It naturally occurs in Europe, Asia and North America. It has a long tradition mainly in Chinese and Japanese cuisine and traditional medicine.

In the Western world, Lion's Mane has seen a great rise in connection with topics such as concentration, memory, mental performance, nerve regeneration, neuroplasticity, mental resilience, biohacking and longevity. You may therefore also encounter the names „smart mushroom“ or „brain mushroom“.

Lion's Mane from the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine

In traditional Chinese medicine, hericium (Hou Tou Gu) is primarily associated with the middle burner, i.e. the digestive area. Its nature is described as neutral, its taste as sweet. It traditionally relates to the Spleen (Pi), Stomach (Wei) and Heart (Xin) meridians. These are perceived in Chinese tradition as the centre that creates vital energy Qi and Blood (Xue) from food.

According to TCM, weakened digestion can lead to the formation of so-called „dampness“, which symbolically blurs clear thinking and contributes to a feeling of heaviness. Hou Tou Gu is therefore traditionally perceived as a gentle mushroom for harmonising digestion, dispersing internal „fog“ and calming the Shen spirit. In TCM symbolism, it thus represents a balm for the centre of the body and a clear mind.

What is a dual extract

Dual extracts are created by combining water and alcohol extraction, which allows for a broader spectrum of naturally occurring bioactive substances contained in mushrooms to be obtained. While water extraction focuses primarily on polysaccharides, including beta-glucans, alcohol extraction releases other valuable components, such as triterpenoids, sterols and other bioactive compounds.

Thanks to the combination of these two methods, a comprehensive extract is created that respects the natural composition of the mushroom, but in a more concentrated form with a higher proportion of health-beneficial substances. Method of use and recommended daily dose

Take 4 capsules once daily. For optimal use, we recommend taking the capsules on an empty stomach.
