Shungite Pendant, Om
Entrust yourself to the protection of a personal amulet that
complements the power of the mineral with spiritual symbolism.
The Shungite pendant with the Om symbol will protect you and bring peace,
balance, and conscious grounding in the present moment to your heart.
The Om symbol is considered the primordial vibration from
which everything originates. It reminds us of the unity of body, mind, and
spirit. Wearing it can lead you to calmness, concentration, and inner
balance throughout the day, whether you are on the move, at work, or in
the silence of meditation.
The power of the symbol is underscored by the material from which the pendant
is made. Shungite is one of the oldest minerals on Earth and is
composed mainly of carbon – the basic building block of life in the unique
form of fullerenes, which lend it strong protective and cleansing
energy.
Thanks to the combination of shungite and the energy of Om,
the pendant will provide you with subtle yet powerful protection and support
during work, travel, or periods of increased mental strain. Simply hang it
around your neck and let it work its magic.
This timeless and versatile piece of jewellery can be easily
combined with any fashion style, suitable for both women and men. Each piece is
original, with minor differences in the stone's pattern
highlighting its natural origin and uniqueness.

Storing Shungite Jewellery

of natural fabric. We recommend using a pouch made of natural velvet, silk, or
linen. This way, you will prevent scratches and abrasions.
Care and Maintenance of Shungite Jewellery
To ensure your shungite jewellery remains undamaged, it is essential to care
for it properly and follow basic guidelines.
- Sensitivity to chemicals and temperatures: Shungite
jewellery can react with aromatic substances, oils contained in cosmetics and
perfumes, chemical compounds, and high temperatures.
- Remove jewellery: Always remove your jewellery before
visiting a swimming pool, shower, or sauna.
- Avoid perfumes: Prevent direct contact of perfume with
shungite jewellery. Apply perfume before putting on the jewellery and allow it
to dry.
Cleaning:
- Heavy soiling: In case of heavy soiling, you can carefully
wash the jewellery with a mild soapy solution. After washing, rinse thoroughly
with clean water and dry with a soft cloth.
- Light soiling and regular care: For routine maintenance and
removal of light dirt, we recommend using a soft cloth, ideally made of
synthetic suede or microfibre.
By following these instructions, you will ensure that your shungite jewellery
retains its original appearance and properties for a long time.
What is Shungite
Shungite is a black matte stone with a natural carbon structure originating
from Karelia in Russia. This fossilised natural material from the seabed has
exceptional composition, properties, and wide application.
It is known for its ability to absorb radio and electromagnetic
radiation and cleanse negative energies. It activates and
enriches water and serves as a natural filter. It has strong
protective effects.
It is extremely grounding, traditionally said to help better
integrate cosmic wisdom and karmic lessons, as its high
vibration helps bring your spiritual body down to the
physical plane.
Fullerenes, antioxidant, universal sorbent
Based on its structure, shungite is a mineraloid, a
non-porous polyminerallic carbonaceous rock containing almost half of the
elements of the periodic table.
It contains carbon in the unusual form of fullerenes. These
are, after diamond, graphene, and graphite, the fourth known form of carbon and
have enormous potential in many areas.
Shungite is the most powerful known antioxidant and also a
universal sorbent. It binds heavy metals, ammonia, petroleum
products, pesticides, phenols, surfactants, chlorine, and other substances.
History
It got its name from its place of occurrence, the Karelian village of
Shunga on the shore of Lake Onega, where it was first discovered.
Northwestern Russia is the largest and oldest source of shungite; other deposits
are in Austria, India, Kazakhstan, and Congo.
From the beginning of the 18th century, it was used as a healing
aid. Tsar Peter the Great founded the first Russian spa in Karelia and
also used the properties of shungite to purify drinking water for the army.
In industry, shungite initially served as a substitute for coal coke in blast
furnaces for cast iron production. Later, new valuable
properties were discovered – absorptive, bactericidal, catalytic,
redox, and filtering.
These enabled the use of shungite in various fields of science,
industry, and technology. For example, a number of new
nanotechnological materials were created based on it. Especially in Russia,
Norway, Sweden, and America, it is used for water treatment and
purification in wells, reservoirs, or swimming pools and for purifying
wastewater from hospitals.
