Polished Shungite Bevelled Sphere
Bring calm, balance, and a sense of security into your
interior with this impressive yet functional decoration. The bevelled sphere is
hand-crafted from 100% natural shungite, and its shape symbolises wholeness,
fluidity, and equilibrium. Its bevelled edge allows it to stand firmly on a flat
surface, so you don't need a stand.
Place it where you spend a lot of time, for example, on your
desk, in the bedroom, living room, or meditation corner. It will support
harmonious energy and protection, helping you to cope with the
influences of the modern world, such as electronics, stress,
and emotional burdens.
Thanks to its shape, the sphere radiates evenly in all directions, making it
popular for harmonising both work and living spaces, where it
helps to induce focus and inner stability. It will also be useful as personal
support during challenging periods of life.
Shungite is traditionally associated with rituals. The sphere can therefore
also serve as a focal point during meditation, relaxation, or conscious
breathwork. It will help to clear the atmosphere, harmonise
relationships, and bring balance between performance and rest.
The sphere is also a distinctive design element. Its glossy surface attracts
attention, reflects light, and naturally fits into minimalist as well as
spiritually-oriented interiors. Each piece is
original, and slight variations in pattern and shade are a
natural characteristic of handmade items and natural materials.

What is Shungite
Shungite is a black matte stone with a natural carbon structure originating
from Karelia in Russia. This fossilised natural material from the seabed has an
exceptional composition, properties, and wide range
of uses.
It is known for its ability to absorb radio and electromagnetic
radiation and cleanse negative energies. It activates and
enriches water and serves as a natural filter. It has strong
protective effects.
It is extremely grounding, and it is traditionally said that
it can help to better integrate cosmic wisdom and karmic lessons, as its
high vibration helps to bring your spiritual body down to the
physical plane.
Fullerenes, Antioxidant, Universal Sorbent
Based on its structure, shungite is a mineraloid, a
non-porous polymineral carbonaceous rock containing almost half of the elements
of the periodic table.
It contains carbon in the unusual form of fullerenes. These
are the fourth known form of carbon after diamond, graphene, and graphite, and
they have enormous potential in many areas.
Shungite is the most powerful known antioxidant and also a
universal sorbent. It binds heavy metals, ammonia, petroleum
products, pesticides, phenols, surfactants, chlorine, and other substances.
History
It got its name from its place of occurrence, the Karelian village of
Shunga on the shore of Lake Onega, where it was first discovered.
Northwestern Russia is the largest and oldest source of shungite; other deposits
are in Austria, India, Kazakhstan, and Congo.
From the beginning of the 18th century, it was used as a therapeutic
aid. Tsar Peter the Great founded the first Russian spa in Karelia and
also used the properties of shungite to purify drinking water for the army.
In industry, shungite initially served as a substitute for coal coke in blast
furnaces for cast iron production. Later, new valuable
properties were discovered – absorptive, bactericidal, catalytic,
redox, and filtering.
These enabled the use of shungite in various fields of science,
industry, and technology. For example, a number of new
nanotechnological materials were created based on it. Especially in Russia,
Norway, Sweden, and America, it is used for water treatment and
purification in wells, reservoirs, and swimming pools, and for
purifying wastewater from hospitals.
