VELVETY SMOOTH ALMOND OIL
A versatile helper with a velvety smooth consistency, this is almond oil. It is excellent in vegetable spreads, dips, salad toppings and many other dishes. Because of its neutral taste and aroma and good heat stability, you can also use it in baking and cooking.
In the traditional medicine schools of old
The beneficial effects of almond oil have been taught in ancient Chinese, Ayurvedic and Greek schools of medicine. Even then, both its internal and external use was recommended. [1, 2]
Sweet almond oil
The almond tree (//Prunus amygdalus var. dulcius // is a medium-sized tree native to China. The much prized oilis extracted from its kernels, sweet almonds.

Oleic acid, linoleic acid and other naturally occurring substances
In terms of fatty acid composition, almond oil is anexcellent source of oleic acid, which is present in up to 80% of the oil and contributes to its good heat stability. Together with the essential omega-6 fatty acid linoleic acid, vitamins, minerals and plant phytosterols, almond oilis a highly nutritious and surprisingly versatile helper.
Its exceptionally high content of vitamins E and K is also emphasised.
