Our Organic, RAW virgin coconut oil is extracted from the flesh of the coconut fruit by cold-pressing. The maximum content of enzymes and other beneficial substances sensitive to higher temperatures is preserved in this way.
Our coconut oil is not filtered or otherwise stressed during production. Any green and brown bits at the bottom of the jar are not a problem. These are small pieces of leaves and shells that could not be removed during gentle processing.
Composition and properties
Semi-solid, solid and liquid
Semi-solid at room temperature, solid when cold and liquid when warm. This is coconut oil. These and other properties are mainly due to the fatty acids contained.
No added flavourings
Our coconut oil is virgin. It has not been refined, flavored or otherwise treated in the production process.** It retains its white to yellow-white color and natural, slightly coconutty taste.
