How the individual variants differ

The individual variants differ mainly in composition and scent:

Pure – has a neutral and clean scent. You won't find essential oils or other added fragrances in its composition. This version is therefore suitable even for the most sensitive skin or as a base for homemade cosmetics.

Lavender Dream – captivates with a delicate and herbal scent. The uniqueness of this variant lies in its composition, which combines the soothing effects of Roman chamomile macerate and lavender essential oil. It also helps to reduce redness, irritation and the manifestations of problematic skin.

Ylang Vitality – entices with a sensual and spicy scent. The exceptional combination of ylang-ylang essential oil, bergamot and immortelle macerate targets skin prone to imperfections. It provides the skin with necessary hydration, supports elasticity and a unified appearance without imperfections.

Quattro Rose Renewal – intoxicates with a floral scent. The combination of four rose essences and Damask rose macerate brings intense nourishment, regeneration and a rejuvenated appearance to your skin. This variant is especially intended for mature, tired and dry skin.

How to use shea facial butter

First, cleanse your face and neck with natural cleansing foam and tone, ideally with a hydrolate. Then, take a small amount of butter, approximately the size of a hazelnut, and gently massage it into clean and damp skin.

You can use the butter at any time of day and all year round. In the summer months, we recommend applying it more at night as a regenerative treatment, as it might feel heavy during the day in combination with sweat.

Tip: you can prepare your skin even better for application with a gentle massage using a konjac sponge.

Shea butter as a base for homemade cosmetics

Shea butter is one of the classic ingredients for homemade creations. The neutral and clean scent of the Pure variant leaves room for your own fragrance composition, whether you plan to use a single essential oil or a ready-made blend.

Frequently Asked Questions

What skin type are shea facial butters suitable for?

Shea facial butters are suitable for all skin types. Sensitive and reactive skin will appreciate the Pure variant, irritated skin Lavender Dream, skin prone to imperfections Ylang Vitality, and mature or tired skin Quattro Rose Renewal.

When should I use shea facial butter?

You can apply facial butter morning and evening. In winter, you can use it any time of day; in summer months, evening application as a nourishing night facial mask is more effective.

Why is shea facial butter applied to damp skin?

On dry skin, the butter offers more resistance and is harder to spread. Pre-dampened skin absorbs it more easily, and you'll also use a smaller amount.

Can shea facial butter be used as a base for your own cosmetics?

Yes. The butter can be melted in a bain-marie, enriched with a selected essential oil or blend of essential oils, and allowed to solidify again.

How much shea facial butter is enough for one application?

A small amount is sufficient, approximately the size of a hazelnut.
