Do you enjoy experimenting with less traditional flours and specific
flavours?
Discover the unique properties of our Nigella flour, milled
using a gentle process, in organic quality. It is a rich source of beneficial
substances for the body and will bring fresh culinary possibilities to your
kitchen.
It is a popular ingredient for healthy eating, athletes, and anyone looking
for new flavours. It is naturally gluten-free, has a high
proportion of plant-based proteins, and is an excellent source of fibre. For an
interesting mix of beneficial substances, especially iron,
vegetarians and vegans will also
appreciate it.
Try carefully incorporating it into a flour blend for baking
bread. It will also nutritionally and flavourfully enrich porridges, smoothies,
soups, and sauces. It is suitable for savoury dishes and
savoury pastries. Asian cuisine, especially Indian cuisine,
pairs well with it.
However, as with all spices, it is best to use it sparingly. Nigella has an
intensely aromatic, slightly bitter to mildly pungent taste, so
you will enjoy it more as a seasoning supplement. If you are just discovering
it, start with a smaller amount.
Try a new ingredient, support normal digestion, and say goodbye to feelings
of discomfort. Supplement antioxidants, restore a sense
of harmony to your body, resilience, and generally boost your
vitality.

Black Cumin, or Nigella Sativa Seeds
Organic black cumin flour is produced by gently milling the pressings from
Nigella sativa seeds. This annual herb originates from Southwest Asia and the
Mediterranean region and has held its place in traditional cuisine and folk
medicine for centuries.
Its tiny black seeds, also called black cumin, were valued by ancient
civilisations for their distinctive taste and beneficial properties for humans.
Traditionally, they were used for headaches and joint pain, colds, bloating, to
support the respiratory tract and digestion, and for skin problems.
Today, Nigella is primarily used in modern nutrition, where it is popular as
a component of spice blends, oils, in the form of seeds, pressings, and
as flour.
