Cardamom essential oil is made from the seeds. The seeds of this plant have been used in natural medicine for over 3000 years. To this day, cardamom is an important culinary spice in India, Europe and the Middle East, where it is known as the „grain of paradise“. It is also popular in the East as an aphrodisiac.
